Got a comment on one of my blogs regarding debt consolidation.

Someone wants me to become an affiliate member directing them to their site. Nothing to lose, as its free to register. They say the potential is $$$$$$$$$$!!!!. Hmmm sounds familiar, but what they hey.
Check out my link, if you want to see them for yourself, make your own mind up.
Need more visibility though, but if they found it then it must be somewhere.

Helloooooo.... anyone there?
Updating blogs, but still not being indexed by google. Not sure what I am doing wrong. My dilemma is do I keep writing different blogs, or concentrate on the ones that I have started?
Mybloglog says that I dont have any readers yet. What am I doing wrong?
Need to expand my distribution, so going to write some articles for ezine articles.

Get the Spade...time to start DIGGING
Read somewhere that putting your blogs onto Digg gets them indexed quickly. Getting frustrated at writing so much, and it not having an audience. It'll come.
Hope that my best work doesnt dry up too quickly......
In the words of Kevin Costner "Field Of Dreams"..... If you build it they will come.....
Think positive.
Anyway, signed up to Digg, and carefully posted my blogs (now got 8 in total), though for a new user it will only let me put on 6 at the moment.
Also started to record more religiously my progress for each blog. Set up an excel spreadsheet showing creation date, URL, and where I have posted it and what date. So far its only MyBlogLog and Digg. Trouble with trying to do too much at the same time, you cant decide which one has the positive effect. Quite time consuming, as I have had to add all of the current, so will do each new blog as it is created.
My Adsense stats are also a bit skewed as they show my visits. (Probably getting too paranoid....is checking every 30 minutes considered a form a OCD) .
Might try to put some visitor counters on the blogs tomorrow.
Is that a visitor I hear....?

Lets jog to My Blog Log
Right. Got some blogs started. Now how do others get to know about it. In the sea of Internet Blogs, how i'll mine be noticed?
This blogging thing is addicitve. typing something, sitting back in admiration, is all very well, but who gets to appreciate it. I want it read, and I want it now!! (Ooooh no-one said that annoyance was a side effect...)
Just read about MyBlogLog so decided to give it a try. Created my account, which is easy, set up my community category, listed myblog, and HEY PRESTO, within 24 hours it has appeared on Google. Not page 1, I'll admit, but has been picked up by google. My frustrations of the last few days of wanting "instant recognition", even if it is by some inanimate server that is Google, has been satisfied. This blog is rather personal, so you will find it if you have the same condition. (no blatant plug here I'm afraid).
Will do the others right away...

Blogs
Got 8 blogs created now. Sent them direct to www.google.com/addurl to help get them indexed.
Its like a new pair of shoes though. Cant seem to stop viewing them, and judging them. Should be spending more time creating new ones though (or so i think....). Gotta go, time to click on my adsense account..... you never know....

Keywords
Ive purchased Micro Niche Finder. Impulse buy, but gut feel tells me its going to save time.
As with anything, I dont think it does anything that cant be done manually, but then again, we all want things NOW, thats why machines have been invented. Time will tell if its money well spent, so I wont judge yet.
I've picked some keywords related to insurance, rehab, loan. These must be popular, as I am constantly pestered. (Loans...not rehab...). Hardly "niche", but I need to start somewhere. (This is where those of you more experienced start "tutting".and whispering "Oh dear...")
If anyone else has used this software, and there are reviews on the web, you will know of the SOC (strength of competition) field. This gives you an indication as to how how-many-searches .v. number of other sites. A low number for this, with high monthly searches, are the GOLD apparently. The rare diamonds that millions of others are looking for.
Time to start panning......

Step Guide To Niche Blogging
"Earn thousands every month....",".... give up your job for just 2hrs a day....", ".....niche blogging is the secret to fortunes"......."...easy peasy lemon squeezy...". Do these look and sound familiar? Yeah, thought so. Aaaaaarggghhh, I swear, if I see another pop-up proclaiming "methods to success", I may just ........ Well, you wont hear any of that here. Well, not yet anyway.
What I intend to do is embark on an first-ever exercise in niche-blogging. You may have the same thoughts, or intentions, so lets go for it.
Why should that be of interest? Well, I hope that for those of you thinking of the same idea, then what better way to learn, than to see it in action. I will detail all of the activities and show you what effects (the good and the bad). This will demonstrate, in a real-life senario, what worked and what didnt. What routes showed an increase in interest, and what turned people off. As I said, no guaranteed pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, but a trip worth taking.
Whats in it for me, by telling? Surely, if it works, then the cats out the bag!, a step-by-step guide, written for free.....
Well, personally, I believe that there is room for everyone willing to try something. The internet is such an enormous network, that opportunities exist for all. Its also a journal for me to reference, as well as everyone else. Hopefully, contributors will add as we go. The journey starts here.... so here goes...
Trawling through endless websites about do this, do that etc.etc, it appears that there are common denominators. Check out "Wisdom of Crowds", it does make sense. Ask enough people the same question, average the results, and the correct answer wont be far off the mark. (Hmmm... a niche subject there if 'm not mistaken).
Anyway, the first stage is to think of what subject constitutes a "niche". My theory is that give someone a PC, with free internet access, and leave them to it and I bet they will search for something that falls in the following catergories. They either want to learn, purchase or communicate. My first exercise is to pick some keywords or phrases, that fall into these areas. I will be listing the ones I pick, why I've chosen them, and what I intend to do with them. Time to put the PC down, and revert to pen and paper...
